Do I have to leave Autotrader?
No — and most dealers don’t. Forecourt is your website + control centre; we push your stock to Autotrader via their Connect API alongside our own feeds. Many dealers use the savings from ditching Autotrader’s “media” bundle to cover us several times over, but it’s your call.
Can I bring my existing domain?
Yes. Attach any domain you already own — .co.uk, .com, whatever. We auto-issue a free SSL certificate on first request, so there’s no certificate management on your side. Multiple domains per dealer are supported on Business and above.
How quickly can I import my current stock?
A few minutes for a CSV, 30 seconds for a DMS two-way sync. Import from Pinnacle, Click Dealer, Dragon2000, GForces, Keyloop or any standard XML feed. Or just type a VRM — DVLA + MOT history + cap hpi derivative data auto-populate.
Who owns the customer data?
You do, unreservedly. Full export at any time as CSV / JSON via the admin or API. UK GDPR, PECR and FCA Consumer Duty tooling is built in — consent log, right-to-erasure workflow, vulnerable-customer flag per deal.
Is there a setup fee?
None on any self-serve tier. Enterprise custom builds are quoted on scope. We don’t tie you into a contract — Starter, Pro, Business and Group are all month-to-month, cancel any time from the admin.
What if I want white-label / reseller?
That’s the Enterprise tier. Brand the platform as yours, bring your own dealer book, and we bill you at a wholesale margin. Talk to sales for a spec and pricing.
